Teen 2 Camp - Off to a good start (July 28)

Teen 2 Camp 2008 is off to a good start! The staff gathered at camp on Sunday evening for pizza, prayer, and a time of preparation. Monday morning was filled with instruction designed to prepare the staff for the week. Seventy-nine campers arrived at 2:00.

Pastor Tim Potter brought a strong message from 1 Thessalonians 1 in the chapel service this evening. Campers were challenged to have a passionate love for the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pray for the working of the Word in the camper's lives this week.

Thursday at Teen 1 Camp

Pictures today show cabin inspection (looking for "big time fuzzies"), sand volleyball and other morning activities, hamburgers cooking on the grill for lunch, Debate '08 with Bald Bill, Bearded Bob, and Captain America, and the evening Slip 'n Slide with the final "landslide victory" by Dr. Stephen Jones.
