Teen 1 Camp - July 21, 2008

Teen 1 Camp 2008 began today with 110 campers arriving just ahead of a predicted thunderstorm. Registration check-in was moved indoors and indoor activities were planned. Registration went smoothly and the storm passed without a drop of rain, leaving much more pleasant temperatures and cool breezes in its wake.

Pray with us for the spiritual needs of the campers, for wisdom and physical stamina for our counselors and staff, and for safety during the week. We desire to see the Lord do a mighty work during this week of camp.

Pictures posted today show a couple cabin skits before supper, the evening activity (launching a "lame duck"), and pictures from chapel (singing, Pastor Paul Hamilton talking with the campers, and Dr. Stephen Jones preaching from Ephesians 2).
